The San Joaquin Entrepreneur Challenge is an "American Idol" style multi-round entrepreneurial competition presented by the San Joaquin Angels in partnership with regional economic development and academic organizations. The Challenge is open to residents and businesses located in Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, Mariposa, Merced, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, and Tuolumne counties in Northern California.
Be a part of the Challenge by completing the entry form and submitting it on line by Sunday, February 3, 2013. From the received entries, 20 participants will be selected to compete in Round One of the San Joaquin Challenge. Participants will be given two (2) minutes to make their presentation. A panel of judges and the audience will determine the eight (8) participants who move to Round Two. For additional information, download the attached press release here.

A total of $10,000 in cash and $14,000 in professional services will be awarded to two winning entrepreneurs!
By winning the SJ Entrepreneur Challenge I met with marketing, legal, management, and financial advisors who knew how to help a start-up business succeed and grow. The funding and professional assistance that we received from the Challenge helped to put our product in the marketplace spotlight. We now have sales in Florida, Las Vegas, Canada and even Dubai.
