The San Joaquin Entrepreneur Challenge is an "American Idol" style multi-round entrepreneurial competition presented by the San Joaquin Angels in partnership with regional economic development and academic organizations. The Challenge is open to residents and businesses located in Merced, San Joaquin, and Stanislaus counties in Northern California.
Congratulations to the 2012 San Joaquin Entrepreneur Challenge winners! Rounds 2 and 3 of The Challenge were held March 21, 2012. Eight participants pitched their ideas to the judges and audience and engaged in a lively Q & A session with the judges. Following voting by the judges and audience, four participants were invited individually to come into the Board Room and respond to business scenarios presented by the MC and judges. The final votes were tallied. Winners are:

A total of $10,000 in cash and over $10,000 in professional services will be awarded to two winning entrepreneurs!
The San Joaquin Entrepreneur Challenge was a fabulous experience that opened the doors for our business to make connections with local business leaders that are continuing to offer guidance and advice as we move forward with the expansion of our business.
